You can disconnect Apple or Google as your sign in provider for Monarch at any time directly with Apple or Google. However, if you want to continue to use Monarch, you must ensure that you have a direct sign-in and password set up prior to disconnecting.
Create Direct Sign-In Password

- Optional to Find your Apple "Hide My Email" email (if applicable): Log into Monarch using "Continue with Apple" and make note of the email listed in Settings > Security, as you will need to use this later to sign in. Sign out of Monarch.
- Go to your Apple settings on your iPhone or Mac and disconnect your Apple sign-in from Monarch.
- Once disconnected, use the "Forgot Password" flow to set up a new password for the email that you previously noted.
- An email will be sent to the email associated with your Apple ID to create a password. Note: This needs to be done on the web browser, not mobile. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it right away!
- You should now be able to log in with your regular email and the password you created.
- Note: If you no longer want to use this email, you can change it in Settings > Security or reach out to Customer Support for assistance.

For Google Users

- Log in to Monarch as usual using the "Continue with Google" option.
- Go to your account security settings page.
- Click on "Create password."
- An email will be sent to the email associated with your Google ID to create a password. Use the link in this email to create a new password.
Note: This needs to be done on the web browser, not mobile. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it right away! - You should now be able to log in with your Google email address and the newly created password.
- Optional: Disconnect Google sign-in.

Disconnect Apple ID

- Note: Be careful if you use Apple's "Hide My Email" feature, which hides your real email address from Monarch, since we may not be able to locate the "Hide My" email on your account if you don't know what it is. It's important to locate and note the private "Hide My Email" email for future reference prior to taking any action.
