You can give the gift of Monarch by purchasing an annual subscription for a friend or loved one. Here’s how it works for both gift purchasers and recipients.

• Each gift costs $50 USD and provides a 1-year Monarch subscription via a unique promo code.
• Gift codes cannot be redeemed by the same household that purchased them.
• Existing Monarch users can apply the promo code to extend their subscription.
• Codes can be redeemed at any time; there is no expiration date.

Buying a Gift Subscription

Gifts are purchased through the Gift Settings page in your Monarch account. All payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Note: You must have a Monarch account to purchase a gift, and gift codes cannot be redeemed by the same household that purchased them.

1. Visit the Settings > Gift Monarch  page and click “Gift Monarch.”

   

2. Complete checkout. Note: The email listed here is the purchaser's email; you will send the recipient the promo code later.
3. After Purchase:
   • You’ll be redirected back to your Gift Settings page.
   • You’ll see your unique promo code.
   • Click Share to open your device’s share menu and send the code to your recipient.

   • You’ll receive an email receipt from Monarch.

     

4. You can revisit your Gift Settings page to find all your purchased codes and their current status. You’ll see whether a gift code has been redeemed or not, but not the name of the person who redeemed it.

   

   Note: Monarch does not automatically send the gift to your recipient. You’ll receive a shareable promo code, and you’ll send it to the recipient however you like (text, email, etc.).

Redeeming a Gift Subscription

Recipients can redeem gift promo codes just like any other Monarch promo code. They do not have expiration dates and can be redeemed at any time. Note: only one promo code can be applied at a time. Any new promo code added will override an existing promo code.

1. Go to the Monarch signup page or, if you already have a subscription, visit Settings > Billing and click "Manage Subscription."
2. For new subscriptions, complete the sign-up flow and enter your payment details (this is required even with a gift promo code).

3. Enter your gift promo code.

   

4. You’ll see a 100% discount applied. Click to save or continue. Note: Gift codes cannot be used for monthly plans or by the purchasing household.
