When you refer friends and family to Monarch, you earn a reward for each person who becomes a paying member, and they get 50% off their first year. Each household has one referral link you can share anywhere.

Your referral link
Each household gets one unique link you can share anywhere, instead of having to generate a new link each time. Visit your Referrals page to copy your link or share it on social media.
Earning rewards
You earn a $30 reward for each person you refer once they:
- Sign up using your referral link
- Subscribe to an annual Core or annual Plus plan through direct billing
- Connect at least one account
Your reward arrives by email about 30 days after their first payment. It's sent to the household Admin's email address. You can earn up to $480 in rewards per year. See the full referral program terms and conditions.

Note: Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and monthly plans, don't qualify for a reward.
The discount for people you refer
People you refer get 50% off their first year of the annual Core plan when they:
- Sign up using your referral link
- Subscribe through direct billing
Monthly plans, Plus plans, and subscriptions through Apple or Google aren't eligible for the discount. People you refer still get the discount after you've reached your $480 reward limit.
Past referral programs
Your reward is based on the program that was active when the person you referred signed up.
- April 29 to September 15, 2025: $50 gift card for each referral who paid for an annual subscription and connected their accounts, up to $500 per year
- Before April 29, 2025: $14.99 in credits for each referral who started a paid subscription, applied automatically while you had a paid subscription
