Recent connectivity updates that have widespread impact will continue to be documented on this page. Jump to Recent Updates section.

The connectivity metrics that were previously posted on this page are reflected in the new dashboard, along with additional insights. You can learn more about the new dashboard in our blog post about it. 

The dashboard data is updated once per day, and tracks general trends for an institution and data provider combo. While it reflects average behavior, your individual account health may vary.

Desjardens Plaid November 2025 As of November 2025, Desjardins returns transactions to Plaid as USD. 
TD Canada Trust Plaid October 2025 [RESOLVED] We have reports of some Visa accounts through TD Canada displaying previously posted transactions as pending, or of some transactions being missing. Plaid is investigating. We do not have an ETA at this time.
RBC (Canada) Plaid  September 2025 RBC has made some updates on their end that have affected the Plaid connection. This means that, for now, the only solution is to turn off MFA (which we do not recommend for obvious security reasons) or to continue to go in and update your login settings each time you want the account to sync. Plaid is aware and working on a resolution.
Rogers Bank (Canada) MX Sep 11, 2025 MX is having issues connecting to Rogers bank to due to updates to the Rogers login page and captcha. They are working on resolving this, but we have no ETA yet.
Wealthsimple (Canada) Plaid [Resolved]

[RESOLVED] We've received some reports from customers seeing inverted transactions. Plaid let us know of a known issue impacting some customers and are working on a fix. Some customers have success with MX.
TD Canada Trust Plaid [Resolved]

[RESOLVED] TD Canada Trust and Plaid are experiencing an outage. We are communicating with Plaid to figure out more details. Some people are able to connect with Finicity or MX.
TD Bank Finicity [Resolved]

[RESOLVED] Our data provider, Plaid, is actively investigating reports of missing and delayed transactions. They aim to have a fix this week. 
RBC Finicity Nov 7, 2024

Our data provider informed us of a known issue with RBC Royal Bank that is causing transactions to appear inverted. They are actively working with RBC on this, and they hope to have a fix in place soon. We don't have an ETA on this, but know that our data provider and RBC are working quickly to get this resolved.

In the meantime, you have the option to correct the currently inverted transactions by following the steps below:

  1. Go to your Accounts page and select your affected account.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Click Download transactions.
  4. Open the CSV file and correct the transaction signs.
  5. Upload the CSV file containing the corrected transactions back into the account.
  6. Bulk-delete the inverted transactions within Monarch.
    November 14, 2023 Support for Canadian institutions added
National Bank of Canada Plaid March 22, 2024 Loans and other liability-type accounts are not supported. Lines of Credit accounts will not display transactions
