Recent connectivity updates that have widespread impact will continue to be documented on this page. Jump to Recent Updates section.

The connectivity metrics that were previously posted on this page are reflected in the new dashboard, along with additional insights. You can learn more about the new dashboard in our blog post about it. 

The dashboard data is updated once per day, and tracks general trends for an institution and data provider combo. While it reflects average behavior, your individual account health may vary.

Mr. Cooper: Mr. Cooper was acquired by Rocket Mortgage. Right now, accounts can't be connected either via Mr. Cooper or Rocket while the sites are in transition. The data providers are looking into how to connect these accounts moving forward.  [Ongoing] December 2025
[RESOLVED] USAA: USAA has fixed the issue on their side, and new transactions are coming in. Our data providers are working on backfilling those older transactions.  [Resolved] November 19, 2025
Coinbase credit cards are not support by the Coinbase connection. We do not have an ETA for when the Coinbase credit card will be able to be linked automatically to Monarch. [Ongoing] October 2025
[RESOLVED] E*Trade Financial: We’re aware of a current issue affecting E*Trade investment account connections with Plaid and are working with Plaid on a fix. [Resolved] September 28, 2025
[RESOLVED on Sep 30] Chase: There is an issue causing some connections to fail for Chase due to an issue with the OAuth login process. This issue may impact new connections or background updates on existing items including pulling in new accounts. We're working directly with Plaid to get this fixed. [Resolved] Sep 28, 2025
Thrift Savings Plan/TSP: The data providers have advised that that accounts at this financial institution are failing due to additional authentication requirements that their current setup cannot bypass. This is preventing successful aggregation for the affected accounts. They are working on it. Some users have had better success with MX, though they also have a low success rate overall. [RESOLVED] Coinbase: Staked holdings no longer show up for Coinbase. We are aware of this issue and working on a fix with Coinbase. [Resolved] August 25, 2025
[RESOLVED] Fidelity: Finicity is aware of possible errors (these may appear as 2026 errors) and is investigating. We don't have information on the scope or ETA for resolution at this time. [Resolved] June 27, 2025
[RESOLVED] Principal Financial Group: The connection through Finicity is down. We have escalated this to Finicity but do not have any an ETA on resolution.  [Resolved] June 10, 2025
[RESOLVED] Discover: The connection through Finicity is down. Finicity is working with Discover on a resolution and we do not have an ETA. The Plaid connection is working. [Resolved] June 3, 2025

TIAA: MX is the default provider; however, they are experiencing issues with their connection. MX is investigating. Plaid is an option but first connections are rarely successful.

PayPal has limited the ability of third-party data providers to maintain a stable connection. It is expected that users will frequently be required to re-authenticate their login credentials. Ongoing
Coinbase has updated their API and changed the way they send data, specifically the way they report ETH holdings to third parties. Some users have had success in fixing this by updating their login credentials.  [Ongoing] January 23, 2025

Plaid and Finicity have stopped supporting connections to Student Loan Servicers. Institutions that are no longer supported include: 
- Aidvantage
- Edfinancial Services

- MOHELA
- Nelnet
Where available we have updated the default data provider for these institutions to another available connection.
